Similar to a post I ran a few years back – but have the results changed? As a reader how influential are reviews to you? Do you read them all then decide? Do you just read the top few? The negative ones?

It depends on the review, I usually check the three star reviews. If there are several reviews regarding editing issues, misuse of words, spelling, grammar and typos, etc. I won’t buy the book. Reviews based on characters or plot I don’t usually pay attention as it is a personal point of view and not necessarily how I will read the story.
