Editor Interviews

Editing is an integral part of the writing process. No one likes to read a book full of typos, bad grammar, odd punctuation, inconsistencies or poor plot and characterisation. Many indies self-edit (including myself) for a variety of reasons, one of which is cost. Editing services are expensive and as with most other services some are better than others. The process is not as simple as looking for typos, the workings of the editor’s desk are rather mysterious and hopefully the series of interviews with editors will shed some light on what actually goes on and providing advice for writers.

These editors come from a variety of settings and experiences and have given their time freely. Hopefully they will feel the benefits of their generous advice as much as I have.
