Wyrd Worlds – a fantasy and science fiction anthology.

Wyrd Worlds is a fantasy and science fiction anthology written by group of international authors who publish on Smashwords and other e-book platforms. It is quite a varied collection with everything from Steampunk to time travel to dark fantasy but all spring from the urge to create worlds and stories and to share those creations.

It is free, and currently available from most e-book providers – including Smashwords, Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Kobo.

A lot of hard work went into it, especially from editor Steph and cover designer Ross. There was a lot of camaraderie, as there often is among indie authors and hopefully the friendships forged will remain for future support and future projects.

My own offerings are The Blue Phial – the first of the Tales of Erana which will be short stories set in the world of The Light Beyond the Storm Chronicles although not necessarily linked to the main characters. (Blue Phial has now been expanded and revised for Tales of Erana).

The second of mine is Monday Imps which is a darkly humorous explanation of why Mondays are always bad. The Imps will appear in future short stories, probably in other anthologies.

A series of author interviews and posts will follow from the authors involved with this project. Thank you for all your hard work guys!

The first volume has been very successful with over 4000 downloads across the sites.  In fact as off September 2014 Wyrd Worlds II will be released. Some of the same authors are involved and some new blood. I’d urge people to check these out, as they are free and the stories are a great way to find new authors. I’ll be sure to post up links when they appear.
