An interesting post. I use prologues and I have no problem reading them. They are a useful way of providing information, which whilst it can be said, could appear elsewhere it is often not appropriate or difficult to insert said information. Prologues are unpopular in the mainstream publishing world but I am never entirely sure why.
I like prologues and I wasn’t aware people had a problem with them. I like epilogues too. It always makes me feel like I’m getting something a little bit extra.
