Interesting article:) I use prologues and I do not have a problem with them in the books I read. A lot of people hate them however but if they are used correctly then they can add to a story.

Definitely interesting. I use prologues to set up the background events of the main story. Villain scenes, supporting characters that will show up later, etc. In fantasy, it helps set the adventure before the heroes appear.
